Kelly and I met here. We are both Army brats and attended Fort Campbell High School. As high school sweet hearts, we sat outside a hamburger joint on 41-A (Fort Campbell Boulevard) mapping out our future and dreams on a napkin. We never anticipated that one day we would be returning home to plant a church.
We’ve been married for over 40 years, raised four children and are enjoying our grandchildren; we’ve been in ministry for the past 30 years and most recently I served a church in central California for the past 16 years, so you would think, now is the time to coast, or retire.
As we read God’s Word, we can’t find those ideas.
We love Clarksville and call this home. We know God has brought us home to join God in the work he is doing here. In some ways this is a new work, but we also know God is always at work.
God loves the people who live in Clarksville. God has great concern for every person living here. God’s Word tells us God made them, shaped them as they were conceived and loves them.
